WEG is proud to announce that Ms. Megan McCullough has earned her Professional Engineer certification. Megan, a Water Resources Engineer II, works in our Fredericksburg Office and has been with WEG since graduating from Virginia Tech in 2007.
WEG is pleased to announce the committee appointments of several of the Water Resources Staff. Scott Blossom, P.E., C.F.M., LEED A.P.was appointed to the Board for the James River Green Building Council, Chris Kuhn was selected to serve on the Virginia Stormwater BMP Clearing House Committee, and Doug Beisch, P.E. was appointed to the Nutrient Credit Exchange Study Committee. Mr. Jeffrey T. Hancock, P.E., was selected to the Water Reuse Advisory Panel to assist the Virginia Department of Environmental Quality in the development of amendments to the Water Reclamation and Reuse Regulations. Click here to read the Press Release.
Mr. Christopher Plummer, an Environmental Planner in WEG's Northern Virginia Office, recently led a field excursion with nearly 130 first graders at Cedar Lane Elementary School. The primary focus of the trip was to examine a nearby pond as part of the class science curriculum in order to provide real-life examples of how the environment changes as the seasons change. Mr. John A. LeReche, III, C.P.S.S., recently earned certification as a Conventional Onsite Soil Evaluator (COSE). The COSE is offered through the Virginia Department of Professional and Occupational Regulations and provides credentials to conduct onsite evaluations of sewage disposal sites and help in the design of onsite wastewater treatment systems (OWTS) to ensure proper functioning and treatment of wastewater effluent.

Mr. W. Douglas Beisch, Jr., P.E. and Mr. Daniel A. Proctor, P.E. recently earned their Master Stormwater Practitioner (MSP) title. WEG is proud to announce that Mr. Daniel Proctor has earned his Professional Engineer certification. Dan, a Water Resources Engineer II, works in our Williamsburg Office and got his start at WEG back in 1999 as an intern.
Mr. Daniel Malone, Landscape Architect II, has been distinguished as a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). Dan started at WEG in 2003 and is in our Williamsburg Office.
Ms. Christy Hill, Water Resource Engineer II, has also been distinguished as a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP). Christy joined WEG in 2005 and works out of our Williamsburg Office.
