WEG’s GSA Schedule Contract, # GS-10F-0133Y, is for Environmental Services (899). WEG offers federal agencies expertise and innovative solutions to their environmental challenges. Although WEG has worked with all levels of government during its 21 year history, this GSA award serves as a formal contract vehicle for government customers to directly utilize WEG’s services going forward. Williamsburg Environmental Group, Inc. (WEG) provides full-service environmental consulting and water resources engineering to support the environmental needs of numerous governmental entities at local, state, and federal level. We offer a complete suite of support services necessary to realize project goals including: feasibility assessment, project planning, stormwater engineering, permitting, mitigation design, and compliance monitoring. We understand the importance of professionalism, confidentiality, adherence to schedule, and budget constraints. Our employees include former local program staff, and former federal and state regulatory experts who routinely support municipalities and state and federal agencies in meeting their environmental needs. Our portfolio of projects ranges from Locally Administered Projects to large-scale military installations. WEG staff are experienced in the preparation of various levels of environmental documents to meet the requirements of the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). WEG has supported state and federal agencies, including the Virginia Department of Military Affairs, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation, and the U.S. Coast Guard by providing stormwater management engineering, dam safety, wetlands and water quality, regulatory permitting, stream and wetland mitigation, and landscape architecture services. The firm also currently holds more than a dozen open-end/on-call contracts with various municipalities, including Hanover County, James City County, New Kent County, Fairfax County, Stafford County, Prince William County, as well as other localities such as the City of Hampton, the City of Newport News, the Town of Roanoke, and the Town of Blacksburg.
