Golf Course Planning

WEG’s landscape architects work with golf course architects and other professionals in the development of golf courses. Information gathered in the preliminary planning of a golf course is used to minimize impacts to natural resources and to create a comprehensive landscape master plan, integrated pest management plan, and clubhouse and maintenance facility design. |
Wetland Mitigation

WEG is dedicated to the creation of environmentally and economically feasible wetland mitigation, wetland restoration, and stream restoration projects. WEG has utilized multi-disciplinary project teams of landscape architects, ecologists, and water resource engineers on over 100 wetland mitigation projects. WEG offers complete wetland mitigation services, which include feasibility studies, wetland and stream restoration, conceptual plans, and actual construction plans for wetland creation. |
Resource Mapping

WEG’s landscape architects prepare an Environmental Resource Inventory showing the cultural and natural resources that are associated with the feasibility stage of landscape development or restoration. Components of environmental resource inventory plans typically include waters of the U.S. , Chesapeake Bay Preservation Areas, soils, vegetation, existing site improvements, threatened and endangered species, historical resources, steep slopes, and watersheds. |
