Bridlewood Estates is a residential subdivision, located in Stafford County, Northeast of Fredericksburg, VA.  The site is situated on a combination of agricultural and forested land in the Piedmont Province.  Williamsburg Environmental Group, Inc. (WEG) completed a wetland delineation and perennialflow determination and subsequently had the opportunity to do the soilevaluation. 

The developer was dissatisfied with the previous soil scientist and wanted a second opinion.   By exhausting all creative brainstorming WEG were able to find 17 lots with 4-bedroom house sites when the previous soil scientist could only find 14 lots with 2-bedroom house sites.  WEG prepared soil reports required by the Stafford County Health Department and assisted them in the technical review of the subdivision.  To complete the project in a timely manner, WEG coordinated closely with the engineer and developer.

As of May 2007, the Health Department has approved Bridlewood Estates.  WEG will move on to do follow-up work on this project including preparing single lot drainfield permits for the entire subdivision.
