Widewater Subdivision
Stafford County, Virginia

Showcases:
Widewater Subdivision
Bridlewood Estates
Soils Showcase TBD

Widewater is a residential subdivision located in Stafford County just north of Garrisonville, VA.  It is situated on a steep, forested site in the Coastal Plain Province.  The project started by conducting a feasibility study of the entire property to investigate possible residential development utilizing onsite sewage disposal.  Soil feasibility studies are an essential planning tool for the layout of subdivisions or commercial projects that depend on onsite sewage disposal either on individual septic tank drainfields and/or mass drainfields.  Once it was proven to the developer the property was a viable investment, Williamsburg Environmental Group, Inc. (WEG) diligently worked on a lot by lot soil evaluation to determine the suitability for the installation of onsite sewage disposal systems.

WEG is working aggressively with the developer and engineer maximizing the lot layout using different types of advanced pretreated drainfields.  Once the engineer finishes the lot layout, WEG will submit the soil reports required by the Stafford County Health Department and assist them in their field review of the submitted soil reports.  Since this is a very complicated site, the completion date on the entire development is 2010.
